Surprise! I know don’t usually post on a Monday, but today is cause for a special update.

It’s my 1st year blogging anniversary!!!!!!

I made it! I started this blog as a hobby and stuck with it for a whole year, that’s another check mark on the life list! Victory! Sweet Victory!

Thank you so much for riding along with me on this journey we call life. No, seriously there are so many blogs out in the blogsphere and you chose to check out my little corner of the net and you keep coming back! You lovelies really make me feel so special.

In case you’re wondering, I do plan on blogging for another year.  Posts will either be on Saturday or Sunday, and I intend to keep consistent with weekly posts. Although, I’m not gonna lie, for a quick moment I was so excited to know that I didn’t have to continue my commitment past this day. But, I just can’t seem to stay away.  Your comments, your sharing, our networking, it has all been so inspiring to me; I just pray that I have done the same for you.

I want to make some changes to the blog, and I will slowly but surely add and subtract things as I go along. I’m hoping to get a more customized look and feel this year so I’ve been saving my pennies to work with a lovely lady I “met” through Twitter to help me with that since I’m not a web developer (although I’ve done the setup and everything you see so far). I’ve also been saving my pennies to work with another lovely lady I’ve “met” through blogging to help me really bring out the best of what I want to offer through this blog.

Just to let you know some of the things I have in store for you, February is Black History Month and I will be interviewing several black entrepreneurs who are willing to share their experiences to inspire us all to keep moving in our own professional development. I also found out about some pretty awesome and resourceful nonprofits in Jersey that I want to shed some light on. One nonprofit in particular that really caught my attention focuses on Women Empowerment and developing young leaders, this organization highlights a woman suffragist who helped shaped women rights as we know it!

Of course, I’ll continue to post about my own personal reflections about life, love, and the pursuit of authentic joy.

So, again I thank you for reading along and I encourage you to please subscribe to my free blog updates!

Until next time…..
