I realize that a lot of people are struggling right now. Struggling with their finances; struggling with having (or not having) jobs; struggling with their love ones. The last thing anyone wants to hear is without struggle there is no progress. At the end of the day, the phrase is true. There will be storms in life and no matter what shelter you find from the rain, we all face these trials and tribulations. It is up to us how we handle the mountains we have to climb. We can stay stuck in our circumstances, or we can learn from our mistakes work our butts off to pick up the pieces and keep it moving. Too many times we want a pity party (I am guilty of this too). We see nothing but the darkness of the situation and we let that darkness swallow us alive. I know just as well as others that times are not favorable to many families, but we can’t let the times get the best of us and distort our thinking. The way I see it is if you’re down and low, at the bottom of the barrel then there is no place to look but up. Perhaps it’s time to seek “G.O.D. Good Orderly Direction”. We run around like crazy just trying to get by that we forget to take time and reevaluate who we are, what we stand for, and begin living life with purpose. Something great is in every one of us. A gift or talent just waiting to be received and put to positive use. Sometimes we may have to start all over again. Especially when we have been living life based on what others thought was best for us. Sometimes we just need to take it to another level than where we are currently in life. I believe we were all born with the right tools to solve any problems we face in life, but socialization teaches us fear and confusion so we forget where we placed those tools. The most wonderful thing about life is we have every opportunity to find ourselves if we really want to know who we truly are. We have every opportunity to better ourselves if we could and should be better. There is nothing wrong with being a work in progress, or calling yourself art in motion. That’s why we are beautiful.
